Dr. Smith is a skilled therapeutic optometrist with advanced training in diagnostics. This allows him to offer preventive care and treat a range of eye conditions, such as red eyes, conjunctivitis, glaucoma, retinal issues, foreign objects in the eye, and dry eyes.
With a career in optometry that began at the University of North Dakota and was followed by the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Smith has dedicated over 27 years to serving the Irving community. He is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
His practice, Beltline Vision Clinic, is equipped with modern technology, including retinal photography, optic nerve analysis, and equipment for evaluating peripheral vision to ensure early detection of eye complications.
Outside his professional life, Dr. Smith is a married family man with three sons, three daughters-in-law, and two grandsons.
